BaselWorld 2018 we will see the much awaited launch of the new Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Moon Black Enamel.The watch is a technical and artistic triumph, representing the phases of the lunar cycle from the new moon to the last quarter ( The moon phase requires correction only once every 122 years) Jaquet Droz have maintained the clean aesthetics of the Grande Seconde collection and the signature Jaquet Droz figure 8. The double dial features an applied satin finish ring, 18k red gold star appliques and a 22K gold moon on a black onyx moon disk.
The movement sits behind an off-centered dial for hours and minutes, with a large off-centered seconds dial at 6 o’clock and the inner rose gold ring tells the date and also the current moon phase.
Equipped with the twin-barrel calibre 2660QL3 which runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and offers a decent power reserve of 68 hours.
The watch comes on a rolled-edge hand-stitched black alligator strap with an ardillon buckle made of 18k rose gold.
